What We Take On
Flooring, doors and a kitchen are three jobs people often do three years apart, and end up paying for three times over in disruption.
Done together, they work with each other. The floor runs through without a strip where the old kitchen used to stop. The doors sit right against the new floor level. The kitchen goes in once rather than being pulled about later when something else changes.

The Option Between Putting up With it and Moving
Most people think there are two choices. Live with the house the way it is, or spend a fortune extending it.
There's usually a third, and it costs a fraction of the second one.
Nine times out of ten the problem isn't floor space. It's that the back half of the house is dark, the kitchen is shut off from everywhere else, and the best part of the block is on the other side of a small door and a window.
Fixing that is a completely different job to adding rooms, and it costs a completely different amount of money.
On a recent job the layout was reconfigured to get a fourth bedroom out of the existing footprint. No extension, no extra square metres, same house.
